Reynaers launches design update to its CS77 open-out window
Reynaers Aluminium UK has launched a design update to its ConceptSystem 77 (CS77) open-out window, delivering a new outward opening solution to replace the existing CS77 open-out and ES50 open-out windows.
The updated CS77 is a dedicated new outward-opening profile, with friction hinges and telescopic espagnolette locking hardware. These additions ensure a secure and smooth operation essential for commercial settings.
Designed with safety and durability in-mind, the new CS77 focuses on functionality and value, and is tailored to the needs of environments such as hospitals, schools and garages. It is also compatible with existing systems, meaning it is suitable for both commercial property upgrades and new builds.
Additionally, the updated CS77 has undergone Reynaers’ rigorous testing to ensure it is compliant with relevant industry standards including PAS 24, which ensures robust resistance to forced entry. The window is cycle tested to ensure long-term, high-performance, particularly in commercial areas. It has also been tested for weather performance and achieved AWW (600Pa Water Tightness) certification.
John McComb, Technical Director at Reynaers Aluminium UK said:
“As a result of the consistent product development and innovation taking place behind the scenes at Reynaers, we offer a seamless transition to the new enhanced CS77 option.
“It is important to Reynaers that we continue to offer the very best in value and performance to our customers and the new CS77 maintains the price and quality while enhancing the features that made the original open-out products so popular.
“In developing these updates, we have incorporated performance enhancements led by customer feedback. The new CS77 is designed to meet the most stringent European standards of fire and security resistance at a competitive cost. Moreover, the CS77 is available in different security resistance levels (RC2 and RC3), meaning it is suitable to meet the safety and security needs of a variety of projects.

“This system also saves on long-term costs as the friction hinges and telescopic espagnolette locking hardware additions are designed to withstand frequent usage, ensuring a long service life, with minimal maintenance needed.
“Ultimately, the versatile design of the new CS77, available in a variety of aesthetic styles, make it a solid investment for a diverse range of commercial and light commercial projects where there is a requirement for high durability, security and aesthetic quality at a competitive cost.”
