"For the past 23 years I have been working in the facade industry. I can carry out thermal, structural, ventilation and day lighting calculations relating to facades. I have detailed knowledge on stick build, unitised, bolted, and rain screen facades. I have extensive experience on interface details and I have studied specialist areas such as bomb blasts and photovoltaics in detail.

I have a wide range of experience both in the supply chain and at specialist contractor’s level, working in both technical and sales roles."

"I collaborate predominantly with architects in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Liverpool, but also fabricator/ installers, main contractors, local authorities and consultants. I specialise in a range of fields, namely – NBS specifications, technical expertise relating to curtain wall, windows, doors and associated regulations, such as CWCT and legislation. I have been involved with a large range of schemes from multi-storey residential, offices, hotels and education schemes.

Outside of work, I am a family man with a strong work ethic. I enjoy cycling, architecture, learning new things, meeting new people, anything to do with innovation and science-focused subjects; plus nutrition and fitness."

"I have been in the glazing industry for 30+years, starting as a contract design draughtsman for Crittall Windows. Further design roles for specialist contractors included challenging projects like the 100m dome to Center Parcs, Longleat.

I spent my early years working with bringing composite windows to the UK, which included project managing the glazing design to relocated Wimbledon No.1 Court, before moving to technical sales, and in recent years I’ve worked for Aluminium System Houses in architectural project manager roles.

My expertise includes, extensive survey experience, being comfortable on all types of refurbishment schemes, in addition to high rise new builds and especially enjoy curtain walling projects."

"I have worked within the glazing industry at various levels for the last 28 years, working with Architects, Main contractors and Local Authorities. I have worked at Director level for most of my career and also set up and managed my own curtain walling manufacturing company for 8 years.

My fenestration knowledge covers all aspects of glazing from the specification and installation of curtain walling, aluminium windows through to the management of manufacturing plants for aluminium windows, doors.

Strong communication skills have allowed me to develop numerous opportunities within the commercial sector over the years securing partnering arrangements and sales to housing associations, local authority clients and major contractors whilst working with architects to develop L10 and H11 specifications."

I have collaborated for the last 8 years with London Based Architects, providing advice on the Technical aspects of the façade product range, and ultimately supporting the design team with the necessary Project packs to assist in formulating a preferred design of a façade. Also supporting the Main Contractors and Glazing Façade Contractors."

"I started in the Aluminium Industry in 1986 working as a buyer for a large Aluminium Fabricator based in South East London. I then worked as a Project/Area Sales Manager for a leading Automatic Door supplier dealing with Sliding, Swing & Revolving door entrances.

For the last 6 years I have been working as a Commercial Manager for major System Suppliers.

Some of the major Projects that I have worked on range from, Canary Wharf Tower, National History Museum, Houses of Parliament, HSBC Tower, City Group, Oxford University, Co-op (Nationwide) and Lloyds Bank."
