"I'm busy with family stuff most of the time, with a 5-year-old daughter and two teenage children. I live in the countryside outside Burton on Trent and I moved to the Midlands 13 years ago having grown up in Bristol. I enjoy my passion for cars and motorbikes, when not tinkering with them I attend various motorsport events and am also passionate about football and go to as many matches as I can. I also enjoy travelling, going out and reading.
I’ve been in the construction industry my whole career. I started off working on building sites during college holidays for my father's industrial roofing and cladding business before going into full-time sales after University, initially selling cladding before switching to the fenestration market 8 years ago. I have a passion for new buildings and feel proud when I see one I’ve had some involvement with rise up from the ground to completion, something I inherited from my Dad who would always proudly point out his completed projects when we were in the car on family trips travelling along motorways in my early years. "I have been in the glazing industry for 30+years, starting as a contract design draughtsman for Crittall Windows. Further design roles for specialist contractors included challenging projects like the 100m dome to Center Parcs, Longleat.
I spent my early years working with bringing composite windows to the UK, which included project managing the glazing design to relocated Wimbledon No.1 Court, before moving to technical sales, and in recent years I’ve worked for Aluminium System Houses in architectural project manager roles.

"I collaborate predominantly with architects in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Liverpool, but also fabricator/ installers, main contractors, local authorities and consultants. I specialise in a range of fields, namely – NBS specifications, technical expertise relating to curtain wall, windows, doors and associated regulations, such as CWCT and legislation. I have been involved with a large range of schemes from multi-storey residential, offices, hotels and education schemes.
Outside of work, I am a family man with a strong work ethic. I enjoy cycling, architecture, learning new things, meeting new people, anything to do with innovation and science-focused subjects; plus nutrition and fitness."

"I have worked within the glazing industry at various levels for the last 28 years, working with Architects, Main contractors and Local Authorities. I have worked at Director level for most of my career and also set up and managed my own curtain walling manufacturing company for 8 years.
My fenestration knowledge covers all aspects of glazing from the specification and installation of curtain walling, aluminium windows through to the management of manufacturing plants for aluminium windows, doors.
Strong communication skills have allowed me to develop numerous opportunities within the commercial sector over the years securing partnering arrangements and sales to housing associations, local authority clients and major contractors whilst working with architects to develop L10 and H11 specifications."

Over the years I have worked for numerous blue chip clients such as Tesco, Boots & Curry’s, as well as major property developers such as Berkeleys, Telford Homes, Barrett’s.
Currently I have the pleasure of working with Quintain and its partners on the redevelopment of Wembley."
