What does BM Trada's accreditation mean?
Accreditation underpins the quality, impartiality and competence of the certification services provided by BM TRADA.
BM TRADA is technically competent to audit and certify activity in accordance with the requirements of national and international standards and regulations such as ISO 17021, ISO 17024 and ISO 17065. Users of accredited certification services can be confident in the quality of the processes used, the competence of the team and the reliability and accuracy of results.
Q-Mark, and what it means for Reynaers
Q-Mark is the product certification scheme for building and construction products operated by BM TRADA.
The BM TRADA Q-Mark product certification for construction products, is based on the recognized Product Certification Standard EN 45011 and confirms that a product conforms to the requirements of an appropriately recognized product Scheme Technical Document.
A conformity assessment under the Q-Mark product certification for construction products system will include some of the following:
- Factory production control process and procedures - mandatory
- Initial Type Testing/calculation / Technical Appraisals - mandatory
- Design Appraisals depend on Scheme Technical Document
- Ongoing factory surveillance audit - mandatory
- Periodic ongoing product performance audits - depends on Scheme Technical Document.
The resultant certification is specific to clearly defined products, elements, systems or processes.
