Together for Better
I think the customer service at Reynaers is unbelievable; they’re always available at the end of the phone and really personal. David the Consult Project Manager is able to come into our office and speak to us on a personal basis about projects and we’re able to get his opinion about what products are available to specify. Likewise when we’ve got a technical problem on site the technical advisor team are very good, they’re able to problem solve with us, and work through CAD details and send them over for us to use. I think the Reynaers product range is extremely well thought out, it’s got a lot to offer and they’ve clearly thought about what architects, what clients and what the public need and want in terms of what their windows and doors can do. I would definitely recommend Reynaers, they have been fantastic on a range of projects where we have worked with them, they offer a personal service and their products work.
Reynaers was recommended to us by a fellow consultant, and we researched them and found them to be very good technically but also good on price relative to the market. The customer service level at Reynaers has been very good, the technical reps and the sales reps I’ve spoken to have all been very knowledgeable and answered questions quickly. They aren’t afraid to try to help us when we’re trying to do something that’s non-standard, which is exactly what we want in a partner who supplies us with curtain walling.
I’ve been working with Reynaers for the past six years. I used to work on big commercial schemes using the products and now use them on domestic projects since joining my wife in her practice – Reynaers is a fantastic company with quality products and was an obvious choice.
I find the lead in time much shorter than other systems companies and Reynaers actually halved the time quoted by a competitor on a recent project. I also think that the product range tends to be far more economical. Lots of other companies struggle with the sorts of size windows and doors that I specify – sometimes up to 3.2 meters in height – but Reynaers can deliver.
Reynaers responds to clients’ requirements very well – it employs a positive attitude throughout its team, which is always refreshing to work with. When there are project challenges, like a late order for example, they seem to move heaven and earth to deliver. I’ve worked with John McComb, Reynaers’ Technical Director, for years and he is outstanding. He is one of the leading guys in the industry.
Reynaers is currently working with Mace on a number of projects, one of which is the redevelopment of Greenwich Square, London’s first major carbon neutral development. We have also recently been working with Reynaers on our Holland Green project with Martifer UK in Kensington, London. Holland Green is a high-end residential development for Chelsfield PLC and is also known as the Commonwealth Institute. The façade scope consists of bespoke glazed windows and sliding doors with a curtain walling screen to the new Design Museum.
We’ve been working with Reynaers for several years and have been consistently impressed with the design and quality of its innovative products – so much so that I’ve recently installed Reynaers’ CP 130 lift and slide door system in my own home.
We specify Reynaers’ products on the majority of our projects as they are an attractive and affordable option within our designs.
It is fantastic to work with the team and their commitment to excellence and attention to detail is second to none. They are friendly, informative and reliable and a real pleasure to deal with.
The Princesshay development was a challenge and we were pleased to be able to utilise Reynaers systems for specific applications. The environmental factor, particularly in respect of both the use of recycled materials and complying with forthcoming legislation, was an important consideration.
We worked with Reynaers products on the Dalston Lane project as part of the Hackney development. We used Reynaers sliding doors, curtain walling and windows on the project as well as their sliding system - GP 51. GP 51 provided an ideal modular solution for glazing balconies which allowed us to create winter gardens, opening up the balconies to residents all year round and further extending the usable space in the apartments.
